Colorado Native, proud Midwest Transplant, turned Southern Belle by way of drinking Cheerwine and using “Y’all” in everyday conversation.
Passionate about faith, service, relationship-building, learning, and love. Thrives on kindness, travel, advocacy and justice, hard work, community organizing, creative and effective communication, organizational systems, fun stationary, and Diet Coke.
Adores her dogs and husband and tolerates the cat. Currently balancing life as a mission developer, pastor, and full-time wife. Actively trying to be her best self, all while loving her neighbor.
Emily Norris was ordained as a Pastor in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) in May of 2020 and
serves as Lead Pastor and Developer of the The Dwelling.

Queer, nonbinary, bivocational pastor shattering false binaries in both the religious and secular world. Lover of the both/and life. Passionate about caring for those on the margins of society. Constantly looking around the table for who’s not present and working to provide access.
Can be found outside the church world working in retail and hiking in any green space. Loves spending time listening to music, reading a good book, and coloring. Prefers going barefoot if at all possible and finding connection to the Divine in the most random places.
